Julie has been a Phone Works consultant since 1993. Her strengths lie
in the strategic planning and design of the inside sales/Web channel
in early-growth companies, as well as in integrating the inside sales
channel into mature sales organizations.
Accomplishments
- At MicroPro (WordStar) International, she became an early proponent
and designer of sales development and telesales programs, creating
the most successful lead generation and revenue- producing programs
in the company's history.
- Julie built from inception the Ingres Corporation Sales development
and Telesales group that would become responsible for 25% of the company's
revenue.
- Creating a hierarchical structure to encompass lead generation,
lead processing, outbound selling, and maintenance renewals, the Ingres
Telesales organization under Julie grew to 27 people and $30 million
in less than 3 years.
- Julie created a telesales channel to launch a new Unix-based product
at Natural Language, Inc.
- Julie’s clients have included Cisco Systems, Pivotal Software,
MarketFirst, Portera, BroadVision, NewChannel, Placeware, Narus, BEA,
Intershop, Brightware, RightNow Technologies, Aspect Telecommunications,
IC Planet, Adobe and Hewlett-Packard’s Internet Business Unit.
- At Lawgic, she acted as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, bearing
responsibility for building the company’s entire sales and marketing
organizations. After a year of holding the position as a consultant
she became the full-time Vice President of Sales and Marketing at
Lawgic. About a year later Julie returned to consulting.
