  • Cindy has over 23 years of experience in high tech, selling and marketing software and hardware solutions. For 10 years, Cindy has consulted in the field of Inside Sales Management.
  • Cindy has held a variety of positions during the course of her career including a wide range of Sales, Sales Management, and Sales Operations Management positions. A partial list of the impressive companies with whom she has worked includes: Apple Computer, Siebel Systems, Oracle, Netscape, Collabra, Gupta, Inktomi, Upshot and Keynote. Cindy's career began with Businessland and Everex Computers in the early 80's.
  • Cindy has specialized in developing direct and channel sales teams, including the development of sales and marketing strategies. She has also completed two courses as a Salesforce.com Systems Administrator.

Cindy has a special knack for grasping complex issues and creating comprehensive processes that result in increased effectiveness. While doing so, Cindy minimizes the pain of otherwise challenging situations. She accomplishes this through her sharpened listening skills, her easy and effective communication skills and her ability to bring groups of people together toward a common goal.

In addition to these unique management skills, Cindy has vast experience in all aspects of Inside Sales management including: designing and developing multi-channel, multi-layer sales departments, recruiting and training top sales performers, developing motivational compensation plans that meet the objectives of the company while providing incentive to the reps, and creating lead generation programs with corresponding metrics to meet sales objectives.

Accomplishments

  • Cindy was one of six selected from several hundred sales reps to start up a new division within Everex Computer Corporation. The charter of this start-up included setting sales strategies and channels. Revenue reached $150 million in sales the first year. The group grew to 36 Sales Reps quickly and Cindy was catapulted into Sales Management.
  • At Gupta Corporation, Cindy was once again in a start-up sales organization, blowing out her quota by 150%. By the end of her time at Gupta, Cindy was Manager of North American Sales Operations with 8 separate departments reporting to her with a $14 million revenue quota and P&L responsibilities.
  • At Siebel Systems, Cindy was the first Senior Sales Representative for a new target market, where she established an over $1 million pipeline and $80K in contracts within her first five months.
  • Since leaving Siebel, Cindy has developed additional expertise and experience with Customer Relationship Management systems, including Systems Administrator-level certification for Salesforce.com. She has driven and managed CRM projects for companies including ClickNet, Blue Pumpkin, and @HomeNetworks, where she wrote the RFP and managed the task force for CRM implementation. Based on her extensive experience in this market, Cindy was selected to consult with Upshot (now Siebel), to improve performance of their internal telesales team.
  • One of Cindy's primary focuses has been designing and implementing start-up sales organizations. She successfully did this for Face Time, NinthHouse, Addamark/SenSage, and Zend Technologies. Cindy has worked with a host of start-ups that were ultimately purchased based on their technology and sales performance, including Global Sight, Caw Networks and ClosedLoop.
  • Cindy is expert at troubleshooting and identifying where Sales is not in line with company goals and objectives, and creating recommendations to get back on track. Her Sales Assessments and Jumpstart Implementations have turned around sales organizations at Keynote, Upshot, and Intruvert.
  • Instrumental in helping Apple break into the IT market, Cindy has driven a multitude of pipeline-filling projects including webcasts, white paper postings on IT consolidator sites, telemarketing campaigns, trade shows and road shows.
  • Most recently Cindy designed and implemented the inside sales departments for OQO, a leader in handheld computer technology; Everdream Technology (acquired by Dell) a remote LAN management company; and ResponseLink, a medical alert device company. She has also designed a future department for Microsoft.
  • Cindy recently managed pilot calling programs, which include testing messaging, positioning and conversion metrics, for multiple clients including: LogLogic, Cassatt, and Comnetix.
  • Cindy holds a BA in French and a minor in Business from San Diego State University. She is fluent in French, having studied abroad and worked at the American Embassy in Algiers, Algeria.
